Whether you’re just curious about broadcasting or ready to jump in, this one’s for you. I’m going to walk you through setting up a Chaturbate broadcaster account.
I’ll also cover Chaturbate age verification in full, so you can get broadcasting and earning quickly — with or without an interactive toy like the Lovense Lush 4.
Let’s get straight into it.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Creating an account on Chaturbate takes very little effort. You’ll need a unique username plus a stage name or nickname. Anyone who’s read my other posts knows me as Jess — which is not my real first name.
Picking the right username protects your privacy and starts building your broadcaster identity, so here’s how I’d approach it.
Tips for Choosing a Username
Never put your real name, or any part of it, in your Chaturbate username. I’m not saying I know anyone who has done this. I’m just saying don’t. Choose something completely separate, and bonus points if it fits the camming name or online persona you plan to build.
Keep anything tied to your real identity out of it entirely. Online I’m Jessica Wett, and people in my chat simply call me Jess. That’s the stage name that shows up in my bio and the one fans use.
Set up a separate email purely for your Chaturbate business, registration included. Never sign up with a personal or work address. The few extra minutes are worth the privacy.

I’ve written a separate post on best practices for privacy and safety as a broadcaster, so take a look at that too.
Step 2: Choose A Strong Password
Use a strong, unique password for your Chaturbate account — nothing recycled from elsewhere. Aim for at least 12 characters and mix lower and uppercase letters, numbers and special characters. Skip common words and phrases, and never build it from personal information.
A password manager such as 1Password or LastPass makes this much easier.
Once the account exists, it’s worth switching on two-step verification, also known as two-factor authentication or 2FA. It adds a second layer of protection, and you can enable it later under settings and privacy by clicking security.
Step 3: Enter Your Personal Details
With your username, password and email in place, the next field is your date of birth. As you’d expect, you must be over 18 to use the site. Your age is confirmed during the Chaturbate verification process, which follows the same age verification requirements other adult platforms now apply.
Then choose your gender. Chaturbate verification for transgender broadcasters, as well as male, female and couples accounts (if you stream with a partner), runs through exactly the same process, and once you’re live the same tips for attracting more viewers apply to everyone.
Step 4: Chaturbate Verification Terms and Conditions
Now for some light reading. After your birthday and gender, two checkboxes appear:
- I have read and agreed to the terms and conditions.
- I have read and agreed to the privacy policy.

And yes, you really should read both. I understand the urge to tick the boxes and save the fine print for later, but later rarely arrives.
The terms and conditions matter especially to new broadcasters, since they define how the Chaturbate community operates. Men should also read the guide for male broadcasters.
Appendix C of those terms holds Chaturbate’s code of conduct, setting out what is and isn’t permitted on the platform. Knowing and following those rules is what keeps the site a fun, creative and inclusive adult community. We’d all like to carry on enjoying nice, sexy things around here.
Later you’ll also need to read and accept the independent broadcaster agreement, which covers how you use the platform. Every broadcaster is an independent contractor, for instance, and under the terms you’re responsible for reporting taxable income and paying whatever tax you owe — worth reading alongside the guide to getting paid.
Once you’ve read it all and ticked both boxes, click “Create Free Account” and take a moment. First step done. Nice work.

Step 5: Chaturbate Age Verification and Broadcaster ID
With the account created, make sure you’re logged in, then click “Broadcast Yourself.” A page headed Independent Broadcaster Verification loads. Click the orange “Upload New ID” button.
